Dave H. Shaw

     Dave Shaw, 75, of Sparta, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Gundersen Health System, La Crosse. He was born on October 10, 1942 to Art and Sarah (La Rock) Shaw.

     Dave is survived by his companion of 26 years, Blanche Helgesen; her daughter, Annette (Eric) Matson; granddaughters, Harley Filter and Willow Matson, who was also his best buddy. He is also survived by his children, Dave and his family in Colorado and Angela and her family in Oregon; his siblings, Randy (Rose) Shaw, Chuck Shaw, Vickie (John) Wieman, and Ken Shaw all of Sparta, Sandy Gonzalez of Manitowoc, WI, and Linda Reeves of Colorado; his aunt, Garnett Sams of Michigan; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

     Dave was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Dennis; his sister, Debra; his sister-in-law, Judy; and his nephew, Eric.

     A Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held at a later date. 

     The Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta, is assisting the family with arrangements.
