Beautiful Irene Raimer was that living saint who was my backdoor neighbor when I was growing up in Sparta. She was a perfect model for all the children in the neighborhood.

I have known Irene and family my entire life. The WONDERFUL stories our parents
would tell of all the fun they had since the late 1930's. The baseball games, the picnics
and later in years the visits to Mesa, AZ and more ball games. Irene was a real true
LADY who loved her God, her family, and was kind to all. I will miss going to see " my
Mrs. Spursbee". She is with her Lord, her Ray, and all who went before her. So very
sorry I couldnt be there Monday, but you are in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for the call Ellen. Blessings and love, Marilee and Kirk

Ellen, So sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Even though I did not know her, I am sure she was a wonderful lady and mother. I have always appreciated your friendship throughout high school and beyond. Looking forward to seeing you at our next reunion

In gratitude for a blessed life and we are holding the family, friends and community in prayer these days. May this tender time of passing be one of sharing memories, healing any sorrows, and opening to the grace of the Holy One for all, especially the family.

Irene was the kindest woman that I knew. Every time I visited her she had that sweet smile and usually a little humor to make me smile. My deepest sympathies go out to the children of Irene. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear family,

My heart is filled with gratitude for the years that I enjoyed Irene's life. She is a GEM. Though she may not be canonized as a saint, she was surely that for so many years at St Pat's. Thank you for sharing your dear mom with me and the folks at St Pat's.

Wish I could be with you on Monday, but I've already got a funeral here at St Joe's that day. I'll be with you in spirit.

God love and comfort all of you

Our sincere sympathy at this time. She was a wonderful lady and we often enjoyed conversations after Mass or at parish functions.
Her family will miss her presence in their lives but can treasure all the great memories made in her lifetime.
May perpetual light shine on her

My deepest condolences go out to Irene's family. I heard so many stories from her wonfetful daughter Kathryn who I met a year ago in Arizona. I know how much she cherishes her mother. I have lost my mother in March and Kathryn, was and continues to be a great comfort to me in my loss. Kathryn 's stories of how much she always adored her mother Irene are priceless.
Love and prayers,
