Kathleen "Kasey" R. Geiger

Kathleen “Kathy” “Kasey” R. (Westberg) Geiger, loving wife, mother, and friend, 82, of Cataract, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at her home. She was born August 17, 1935 to Roy and Mildred (Olson) Westberg, in the Township of Mason, Mason, WI.

Kasey attended Mason Elementary School and graduated from Ondossagon High School. Following high school, she attended St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Marshfield and graduated in 1956. Kasey worked as an RN at St. Joseph’s Hospital and worked at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill, WI.

Kasey married Louis Geiger October 27, 1956 in Mason, WI. They had 5 children: Roxanne, Rocky, Jerri, Patrick, and Gregory. As a family they moved 12 times, some to be in a better place, others for Louie’s job. She enjoyed camping, hunting, snowmobiling, white water rafting, and gardening. Kasey was a member of the Cataract United Methodist Church.

Kasey is survived by her husband, Louie; her daughters, Roxanne (Joe) and Jerri; her sons, Patrick (Sue) and Gregory (Jeannine); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two sisters, Annie and Marilyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Rocky.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 1, at the Cataract United Methodist Church, with Rev. Roberta Nowicki officiating. Burial will be on Saturday, December 2, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.
