Larry R Erickson

     Larry R. Erickson, 71, of Sparta, passed away July 11, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System, La Crosse. He was born October 20, 1945 in Sparta, to Ernest and Alice (Simonson) Erickson. Larry was a cook for several different places including Ft. McCoy and worked for the recycling center in La Crosse.

     Larry is survived by his five brothers, Roger Erickson, Eldrid Erickson, David Erickson, Weldon Erickson, and Duane Erickson, all of Sparta; a sister, Barbara Mahan, Cataract; and many nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Alice; four brothers, Robert Erickson, Richard Erickson, Donald Erickson, and Leroy Erickson; two sisters, Shirley Omalza and Wanda Diggins.

     A graveside burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Sparta. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at Club 16, Sparta. Online condolences may be offered to Larry’s family at www.schanhoferfh.com.
