Linda K. Kast

     Linda Kay Kast, 60, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017, at St Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls, WI. Linda was born July 24, 1957 in Sparta to Henry and Jo Ann (Gronemus) Kast. She was raised in Sparta by her loving family and lived in the surrounding areas throughout her adulthood. In 2005, she moved to Champion House in Hillsboro. In 2014, she moved to Wissota Regional Vent Facility in Chippewa Falls. Linda was passionate about animals and was a proud member of the ASPCA. She loved being part of our families, and was proud to have so many ‘nieces’ and ‘nephews’. Champion House would like to thank Wissota Health for the wonderful care and love they provided Linda. 

     Linda is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; her brothers Scott and Kenneth; and her sister, Nancy.

     A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta, with Father Keith Kitzhaber officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Sparta.

     Family and friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. until time of services on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the ASAP Cat Shelter and Monroe County Humane Society both of Sparta. Online condolences may be offered at www.schanhoferfh.com
