Marian F. Kreuziger, 84, of Blair, died Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Grand View Care Center, Blair. She was born June 25, 1933 to the late Sylvester and Marcella (Roark) Thoma in Watertown, WI.
Marian grew up in the Watertown area and graduated from Watertown High School with the class of 1951. She married Roman Kreuziger June 30, 1951 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown, WI. He preceded her in death on December 16, 2008. Together, they lived in Watertown until 1973 and moved to Waukesha until 1993. She liked old time and country music, needle point, cooking, and sewing. Marian made wonderful pies, especially cherry. It was not unusual for there to be four varieties of pie to sample on the Christmas table. Family was most important to her; she was a tireless and devoted caregiver for her son Alan for 43 years.
Marian is survived by her 5 sons: Gary (Betty) Kreuziger, Waukesha; Randy Kreuziger, De Pere; Jeffrey (Julie) Kreuziger, Waukesha; Rick (Jess) Kreuziger, Merrillan; and Alan Kreuziger, De Pere; her 7 grandchildren: Carly, Carissa, Justin, Lori, Amy, Milo, and Nick; her 6 great-grandchildren: Ethan, , Kendyl, Kiersten, Taylor, Adriana and Daniel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman; parents, Sylvester and Marcella Thoma; 3 sisters, Florence (Gerald) Riedl; Helen (Donald) Quest; Elizabeth (Robert) Quest; and an infant brother.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon, on Saturday, November 4, at St. Henry Catholic Church, Watertown, WI with Fr. Miroslaw Szynal officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
