Angeline M Nichols, 85, of Sparta, passed away peacefully, Sunday, November 3, 2019, at Morrow Memorial Home in Sparta. She was born on December 11, 1933, in Sparta, Wis., to George and Leone (Alton) Endres.
Angie was a strong, big-hearted woman who valued hard work and family. She worked for many years as a Beautician/CNA at Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center; while also working on her family farm, hand-milking cows morning and night. She enjoyed fishing, word searches, watching game shows, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. A majority of the time, Angie could be found in her garden, cooking wonderful meals, or playing solitaire. Angie was a very special person and her incredible smile will be greatly missed.
Angie is survived by her three children, Patty (Dale) Ebert, Steve (Amy) Nichols, and Allen Nichols all of Sparta; six grandchildren, Thomas Ebert, Cynthia (Tom) Ashby, Brent Ebert, Chelsey Nichols, Coral Jones, and Naomi Dickenson; seven great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Caden, Corbin, Dylan, Jordan, Brayden, and Hannah; her brothers and sister, Donald Endres of Sparta, Janice Newberry of Calif., George (Marge) Endres of Sparta, and Michael (Joyce) Endres of Sparta; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert, James, and David Endres; sisters, Alice Whitacre and MaryAnn Dean; and two infant siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019, at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta. Family and friends are invited to call from 11 a.m., until time of service, on Friday, at the funeral home.
