Beatrice Ann Tenner (Rudkin) passed away peacefully on April 18, 2018 at Park Vista in Port Orchard, Washington. She was born on November 17, 1926 to John and Mable Rudkin in Sparta, Wisconsin. Beatrice was raised in rural Cataract and graduated from Sparta High School in 1944. She worked for many years at various jobs in the Sparta/LaCrosse area but especially loved her work in retail women’s clothing. Beatrice also loved to dance, read and travel. She enjoyed many Saturday nights dancing at the Moonlight Pavilion in Cataract.
After retirement, Beatrice joined her daughter in Dallas, Texas, to spend more time with her family and help care for her grandson. In 2015, she followed her daughter and grandson – now grown with children of his own – to western Washington.
Beatrice is survived by her only daughter, Stephanie (Ciaramitaro) Bosslet (Richard) from her marriage to Francis P. Ciaramitaro. She is also survived by grandson, Clark Bosslet (Lindsay) and two great-grandsons, Beck and West Bosslet, sisters Vivian Webster and Janet Hendersin (Ralph), brothers Raymond Rudkin and Richard Rudkin (Elaine) and sister-in-law Kathleen Bean as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother Kenneth Rudkin, brother-in-law Harold Webster and sister-in-law Annabelle Rudkin.
Beatrice is also survived by her feline companion of 13 years, Whiskers, whom she loved very much.
A Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Morrow Memorial Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to call from 1p.m. until 3 p.m. A private family burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sparta. Online condolences may be offered at www.schanhoferfh.com
