Geneva R. Davison

     Geneva R. Davison, 85, of Sparta, died Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at her home. She was born in Ferryville, WI to Charles and Florence (Lee) Lawrence. She grew up in Ferryville and La Crosse and graduated from Logan High School.

     Geneva married Keith Davison on May 10, 1969 in Denver, CO. They lived in England for a year and then moved back to the U.S. They lived in Wiley, CO, Wabash, IN, Lakefield, MN, and Byron, MN while Keith was a Pastor. They retired to Winona and then moved to Sparta.

     Geneva was a secretary for various businesses but was mostly a homemaker helping raise her family. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family.

     Geneva is survived by her husband, Keith of Sparta; her children, Ronald Gruen of West Salem, WI, Dennis Davison of Fall River, WI, and Mark Davison of Hillsboro, WI; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother, Norman (Ruth) Lawrence of Holmen, WI; and many other relatives and friends. 

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Florence; her sister, Donna Olson; and her brothers, Virgil and Ronald.

     A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sparta, with Reverend Mark Kvale officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sparta.

     Family and friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. until time of services on Friday at the church. 

     The Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
