Lorraine C. Flock

Lorraine Clara (Hauser) Flock, 95, of Sparta, died Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Morrow Memorial Home, Sparta. She was born in Cashton on June 28, 1924 to Joseph and Elizabeth (Marx) Hauser.

Lorraine married Robert John Flock on August 31, 1948. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1965. Lorraine worked as a sales clerk for Spike and Betty Jones at Jones Fairway, and later Ted & Fred's, for many years. She also worked, with her good friend Leone Ross, for Howie Ramsland at Silverdale for several years. Lorraine was a wonderful cook, homemaker, seamstress and the very best mother, grandmother and great-grandmother anyone could wish for. She was a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Greg) Hardie and Mary Flock (Larry “Pete” Peterson); daughter-in-law Beverly Flock; grandchildren, Amanda (Dan) Beckman, Brooke Pederson, Carly Pederson (Trent Loper), and Scott Storandt; and great-grandchildren Lydia, Stella, Reese, Sienna, and Torin. She is further survived by her twin brothers, Bud (Ione) Hauser and Paul (Lavina) Hauser; sister-in-law Malinda Flock; and two step granddaughters, Macie (Adam) Robinson and their daughter, Hazel; and Alexie (Dan) Krause.  

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Flock; granddaughter, Erica Flock; siblings, Marie Poellinger, Loretta Roesler, Lucille Stanek, Annabelle Baus, Eleanor Leuck, Joseph Hauser, and Lawrence Hauser; and son-in-law, David Pederson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Sparta, with Father Eric Berns officiating. There will be a time for fellowship following the Mass at Club Oasis in Sparta.

Family and friends are invited to call at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Online condolences may be offered to the Lorraine’s family at www.schanhoferfh.com
