Andrew J. Niedfeldt

Andrew J. Niedfeldt of Norwalk, WI, died unexpectedly at his home, on August 30, 2024. He was born on April 18, 1980, to Howard and Carrie (Jolivette) Niedfeldt in La Crosse, WI.

Andrew graduated from Bangor High School in 1998 and he graduated from Western Technical College in 2000 with a Diesel Technician degree.   Andrew married Theresa Johnson in 2005 in Melrose.  Andrew was blessed with three sons during his 10-year marriage. 

Andrew had a love for farming from a young age, and worked for an area custom farming business for many years.  He loved farming, hunting, and most of all, his sons.   

He is survived by his children Owen, Brock, and Mason Niedfeldt of Cashton; former spouse Theresa Niedfeldt; parents Howard Niedfeldt of Bangor and Carrie Niedfeldt of Onalaska; sisters Wendy (Ryan) Whitehead of West Salem and Angela Osgood of Mindoro; grandfather John L. Jolivette, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Chad Osgood; grandparents Richard and Marleah Niedfeldt; and grandmother Joan Jolivette.

A Memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation in Sparta, with Reverend Randy Williamson officiating.  A luncheon will immediately follow the service.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
