Barbara Ann Brockman

     Barbara A Brockman, 78, of Sparta, died Monday, March 8, 2021, at Tomah Nursing and Rehab. She was born on July 30, 1942 in La Crosse, WI to Fred and Ann (Schmidt) Carey.

     Barb was a cook for the Sparta school district for 18 years. She was also the treasurer/secretary, held the offices of Vice President and president of the Wisconsin School Food Service Association and won numerous commendations for her involvement.

     Barb is survived by her son, Rodney Knutson; grandson, Robert Knutson (her Pride and Joy); daughter in-law, Wendy Knutson; along with several cousins and aunts and uncles. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

     She was preceded in death by two husbands, Hulbert Knutson and Samuel Brockman; along with many relatives in death.

     A memorial visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday, March 15, 2021, at the Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta.
