Betty L. Mashak

Betty L. Mashak, 84, of Sparta, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at home. She was born on June 2, 1938 to Lawrence Sr. and Martha (Herricks) Mashak, in Richland Center, WI.

Betty graduated from Sparta High School. After that, she worked at The Sydney Hotel, then Northern Engraving until she was in her 70’s. Throughout her life time, she donated over 10 gallons of blood.

Betty is survived by her sisters, Marie and Margaret; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Sr. and Martha; brothers, Don and Lawrence Jr.; and nephews, Kenneth Jr. and Michael Mashak.

A private family graveside service will be held in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Sparta, with Father Eric Berns officiating.
