Brian L Rauch

Brian Lee Rauch, 61, of Melrose and formerly of Sparta, died Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in La Crosse. He was born on March 29, 1963 to Clyde and Reta (Johnston) Rauch in Toledo, OH. He grew up in Temperance MI, graduated from Bedford High School.

After high school, Brian served in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed in The Mediterranean, San Diego, and West Virginia. After his military service, Brian was found doing different mechanical jobs before finding his niche with Croell Inc for 23 + years. He married the love of his life, Donna VanDyke on August 21, 2021.

Brian was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, car shows to raise money for people in need, Harley rides, polishing his rides, fixing just about anything with a motor, traveling out west to visit his much-loved family, or just having anyone stop by to shoot the breeze with. Brian was a former Mason and Shriner.

Brian is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Angela (fiancé Dan) Marten, Brandy Rauch, Cassi Ann (Mark) Williams, Victoria (Kenneth) Kelly, Nicholas (Chelsey) Reynolds, and Hunter Jacobson; grandchildren, Mikayla, Madison, Makenzie, Aubrey, Lily, Jacoby, Riley Ann, Ezekiel, Emmett, Exavier, Elarick, and Andrea; siblings, Diana (Russ) Warren, Mike Rauch, and Tim (Michelle) Rauch; uncle, Claude Rauch; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Valerie Rauch.
