Carmen R. Korpal, 67, of Norwalk, died February 1, 2023, at her home. She was born November 14, 1955, to Howard and Florene (Buros) Erickson, in Viroqua, Wisconsin.
Carmen grew up and graduated High School from Viroqua. She worked 10 plus years at Century Foods, in Sparta. She loved dancing, watching the Packers, playing bingo, going to the annual Norwalk Tractor Pull, and was a great seamstress.
Carmen is survived by her children, Deidre Erickson, Sarah (John) Rafajko, and Carl Jurgensen; grandchildren, Kaleb Clark, Chelsey Clark, and Mason Galster; step children, Eric Jurgensen, Pamela Shaw, Jamie Jurgensen; sisters, Jackie (Earl) Page and Anne Erickson; brothers, Bob (Diane) Erickson and Mark (Denise) Erickson, and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Katie Jurgensen; sister, Rena Thompson; brothers, Brad Erickson and Barry Erickson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Place Cunitz Tavern, 104 Main St., in Norwalk, Saturday, February 18th, from 2pm-6pm.
