Carolyn F. Miller

Carolyn F. Miller, 77, of Tomah passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, La Crosse surrounded by her husband and children. She was born on September 17, 1948 to Albert and Martha (Pokrand) Knutson, in Sparta, WI. She grew up there, and attended Sparta High School.

She married Stanley Miller on October 27, 1966 in South Dakota. Together they had 3 children. Carolyn enjoyed doing puzzle books, taking care of her dog, listening and dancing to live music, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. 

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Stanley; children, Ritch (Lynda), LeRoy (Kelly), and Tiffany (Jesse); grandchildren, Megan, Allan, Ashley, Ryne, Drake, Alyssa, and Ella; siblings, Sylvia and Ted; sisters-in-law, Janice and Rhoda; as well as many other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Katherine, and brothers, Ole, Hulbert, and Alec.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sparta.
