Carolyn "Carrie" R. Dunston

Carolyn “Carrie” R. Dunston, 63, of Sparta, died Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at her home. She was born on April 1, 1960 to Frederick Jr. and Donna (Emrich) Garecht in Illinois. Her family moved to rural Tomah, Wisconsin in 1968. She graduated from Tomah High School in 1978.

Carolyn married William Dunston. They later divorced. Carrie loved reading, puzzles, and especially her cats.

Carrie is survived by her sister, Joanne (Jeff) Bohnert; niece, Jil Bohnert; nephews, Fred (Sarah) Bolen, and Ben (Kallie) Bohnert; great-nieces, Lily Weber and Emily Bolen; great-nephew, Acen Bohnert; special feline companion, Bella; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
