Cynthia Tester

Cynthia Tester (nee Vance) - 12/21/1947

Beloved mother, nana, great nana, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend, passed peacefully surrounded by her children on July 3rd, 2025 after losing her battle with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. While she forgot many things, she never forgot her family.  

She is survived by her children Clayton (Terri), Christine (Brian) and Carrie (Scott), grandchildren Krystal, Megan, Courtney, Ashley, Cole, Conner, Jenna, Ellie, Abby, Anna and great grandchildren Charlei, Hazel, Everly, Marbree, Braxton, Fletcher, Rowan, many nieces and nephews and her siblings Carl, Janice, Dahl, Boyce, Penny, and Polly. She was loved by many and will be missed by her beloved cat Zoe.

She is preceded in death by her mother Marbry, father Carl, brothers Kerry, Shane, and Dennis, and sister Judy.

We are grateful for the staff at Eagle Crest who loved her to the end, the amazing palliative nurses and doctors at Gunderson, and the nurses at Bethany St. Joseph’s. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eagle Crest memory care or Alzheimer’s Association.

A visitation will be held from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta.  Interment will be in Show Low Cemetery in Show Low, Arizona, on September 6, 2025. Online condolences may be offered at www.schanhoferfh.com
