Daniel C. Fanning

Daniel C. Fanning passed away on July 24, 2020 in Concord, New Hampshire, at the age of 55. He was born to Daniel P. Fanning and Judy (Cole) Fanning on September 5, 1964, in Sparta, WI.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Shelia, father, step-mother, Sandy (Swinghamer) Fanning; sisters, Veteran (Vet), Quillan (Trish), Isadora (Izi), Vernessa (Nessi) and brother, John.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He lived in California and worked for Internal Revenue Services for most of his adult life. His left arm and leg were handicapped by the after effects of cerebral palsy but did not let this hold him back. He could fix anything, including motor vehicle engines.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sparta, on Friday, August 13, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. with visitation at 10:00 A.M. until time of the service. Father Eric Berns will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta, is assisting the family with arrangements.
