David J Brown, aged 68, of Sparta, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026. He was born on April 6, 1957, in a US Army Hospital in Massachusetts, to the proud parents James and Ruth Brown. David was a graduate of Logan High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer and Truck Driver, earning membership in the President's Safe Driver Club. His dedication and commitment to his service were commendable.
A man of many interests, David found joy in hunting, camping, and most of all, being surrounded by his beloved family and friends. His warm presence and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
David is survived by his devoted wife, Geneva Brown, and their four sons: Joshua (Ashley) Brown, Harvey (Jessica) Ferris, Robert (Jennifer) Brown, and Harley (Elizabeth) Brown. David is also survived by his cherished sister Debra (Howard) Berny, beloved niece Dani Berny (Elias Jimenez) and nephew Nate (Ashley) Berny. He also leaves behind a cherished legacy through his grandchildren: Kristina (Nate) Gaustad, Britny Ferris, Eli Brown, Robert Brown, and Liam Brown; and great-grandchildren: Elayna Scholze, Aiden Gaustad, Maesie Gaustad, Holden Bangsberg, and Clayton Bangsberg.
David's memory will forever be treasured by his family and friends. May he rest in peace, knowing he was loved and admired by many.
