David L. Erickson Sr.

David L. Erickson Sr., 80, of Sparta, died Sunday, November 5, 2023 at home with his son. He was born on November 30, 1942 in Sparta to Ernest and Alice (Simonson) Erickson. He grew up in Sparta and graduated from Sparta High School.

David loved hunting and the outdoors.

David is survived by his son, David Jr. of Sparta; grandsons, Zach Erickson of Raleigh, NC, Shane Stark of Sparta, and Hunter Stark of Sparta; siblings, Weldon, Eldrid, and Barbara.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lisa Stark; and siblings, Robert, LeRoy, Donald, Richard, Larry, Roger, Duane, Shirley, and Wanda.
