David A. Plummer, 81, of Tomah, died Friday, June 9, 2023 at Tomah Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was born on September 15, 1941 in Churubusco, IN to Paul and Aileen Plummer. David graduated high school and enlisted in the US Army.
David was stationed in a number of places during his service time including Vietnam where he was a medic. He loved his Army life and his children and grandchildren.
David loved sports cars and was an amazing artist. He enjoyed traveling and reading.
David is survived by his children, Theresa (Gene) Wright, Tom (Danelle) Plummer, Mike (Amy) Plummer, Tara (Andy) Eubanks, Andrew Plummer, Amanda Genske, Darby McIntyre, and Randy McIntyre; grandchildren, Nicholas, Christina, Jessica, Charlolette, Gwyn, Chase, Savannah, and Kadence; two sisters and two brothers; and ex-wives, Cheryl, Marilynn, Kim, and Amy; and special friend, of many years, Patty.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private family services will be held at a later time. A celebration of David’s life will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at American Legion Post 100, Sparta. Military honors, provided by VFW Post 2112 and American Legion Post 100 of Sparta, will be held at 2 p.m. at the Legion.
