Debra A. Hanson-Esser

Debra A. Hanson-Esser, 71, of Cataract, died Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Benedictine Living Community, La Crosse. She was born on May 17, 1953 to Carol and Delores (Tudahl) Hanson, in Winona, MN.

Debra is survived by her husband, Bernie Esser of Cataract; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Randy Hanson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta, with Reverend Josh Buzbee officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

A Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, and again from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home. Online condolences may be offered at www.schanhoferfh.com
