Edna J. Bjorkman

   Edna J. Bjorkman, 86, of Sparta, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at the Morrow Memorial Home, Sparta. She was born on July 25, 1934 in McGregor, Iowa, to Frank and Lillian (Cords) Dahlstrom. She was the youngest of eight children.

     Edna married Donald Yeoman in 1952, and had seven children.  They later divorced.

She married Wallace Bjorkman in 1977.  She worked at Monroe County Courthouse and later went to work at Fort McCoy, in the Medical Supply Area, until her retirement. She and Wally became snowbirds traveling to Apache Junction, AZ each winter. They enjoyed their motorhome for many years.  They decided to come back and make Sparta their permanent home. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandkids. She also enjoyed going on roadtrips.

     Edna is survived by her daughters, Barbera Jotham, Donna Noble, and Ellen Blowers; son, Mitchell Yeoman; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; step-daughter, Vicki Johnson and step-son, Terry Bjorkman.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Wally; children, Donald Yeoman Jr., Catherine Yeoman, and Connie Suhr; son-in-law, Eugene Jotham; stepson, Scott Bjorkman; stepdaughters, Judy Lasko and Shelly Bjorkman; her parents, Frank and Lillian; and all of her brothers and sisters.
