Heather A. Pfaff, 44, of Onalaska, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 4, 2021 at her home. She was born on March 15, 1977 in La Crosse, WI to Terry and Beatrice (Schmitz) Pfaff. She grew up in Sparta, WI. She received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
Heather loved working with young children as this was her true calling. Recently, she was able to have a lasting impact on parents and children in the Coulee Region while working at the Parenting Place. When not working, Heather spent her time making her new condo into a forever home, raising a new puppy, and her love for the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers.
Heather’s greatest love of all was her beautiful daughter, Kassidy. Kassidy was born on March 11, 2006 and was Heather’s true pride and joy. They loved shopping, movies, binge watching Netflix, music concerts, and of course shared the same passion for the Green Bay Packers! Many could say that Heather and Kassidy were almost like sisters, just like Heather and her mom were. There isn’t anything that Heather wouldn’t do for her baby girl even if that meant purchasing her that puppy she always wanted. We know Heather will continue to shine down and marvel in watching her little girl growing into an amazing young woman.
Heather is survived by her daughter, Kassidy Ochs; parents, Terry and Beatrice Pfaff; brother, Kurt (Emily) Pfaff; nephews, Harrison and Franklin Pfaff; godson’s, Maddon Connelly, Tucker Smith, and Franklin Pfaff; and special friend and Kassidy’s father, Joe Ochs.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Roger and Jane Pfaff; maternal grandparents, Wilbert and Katherine Schmitz; uncle and godfather, Clayton Schmitz; uncle, Jerome Weiner; aunt, Paulette Schmitz; cousin, Brent Harrie; friend, Darin Libke; and cousins, Hayden and Sophia Moe.
