Helen A. Bolstad

Helen Ann Marnach Bolstad, 92, of Sparta, WI, went to meet her Lord on Saturday, November 23, 2024.  Waiting for and proceeding her in death is her beloved husband, Clarence Bolstad.  Helen and Clarence were married on October 8, 1949, in Melvina, WI.

Helen was born March 21, 1932, La Crosse, WI.  In addition to her parents, her brothers' Donald and Robert proceeded her in death.  She is survived by 3 children, Doris (Gerald) Olson of IL, Butch (Bonnie) Bolstad of WY, and Clarice Jacobson (Claire) of OK; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; 3 nieces and 2 nephews and their children.

The family thanks her friends and caretakers at Rolling Hills, and her many friends in the community and church that have loved and supported her.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the New Life Assembly of God Church, Sparta, WI.  Visitation to begin at 1 p.m.  Following the service, coffee and dessert will be provided.   Although Helen loved flowers, she has requested that no flowers be sent.
