Jaimie Rae Miller, 40, of La Crosse and formerly of Sparta, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021. Finally free…a love we cannot touch or see…forever in our memories…a love that never dies.
Jaimie was born on July 20, 1980, to Ronda Stone and Michael Miller. “Blue Jay,” as she is known by many, was beautiful, gifted, unique, and strong with a bold, sassy, and fearless spirit. Her creativity and love for poetry and music to express herself was remarkable and will be truly missed.
Jaimie is survived by her parents, Ronda (Amy Jo) Stone-Lakey and Michael (special friend Janis Adams) Miller; brother Justin (Victoria) Caldwell and sons David and Thomas; sister Jordan Miller and daughters Sutton and Holland; sister Jaelyn Arndt; maternal grandmother Carole Stone; cousin Jesse (Jessica) Boughton and sons Ryan and Warren; and aunts Renee (John) Prochazka, Tammy (Ronald) Semann; and Susan (Ed) Danielson and their families.
Jaimie was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Ronald Stone, paternal grandparents Beverly Miller and Eldon Miller, and aunt Shari (Miller) Boughton.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday, June 18, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Sparta. A luncheon will follow the service at 21774 State Hwy 131, Wilton, WI (I-90 east to Tomah Exit 41, turn right on Highway 131 for 7 miles to property on left). (In the event of stormy weather, the graveside service will be held at Lanham Schanhofer Funeral Home in Sparta.)
