Jennifer L. Ewers

In loving memory of Jennifer Lyn Ewers, who passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on September 17, 2024, at the age of 53.

Jennifer was born with Down Syndrome and through that gift helped change the path of her Dad’s life and brought him back to God and led him into the Pastorate. Jenny was raised with love alongside her 3 sisters and lived a full, independent, and joyful life. She enjoyed working at Handishop Industries, attending Gateway and the Day Center. In April of 2020, when she made the move from her loving home to Rolling Hills, she was met with tender compassion and wonderful care.

She leaves behind her parents, Clyde and Linda Ewers, her sisters Jessica (Brad) Fick, Faith (Anthony) Atkinson, Rebekah (Jeremy) Bovay, her nephews and nieces Isaiah (Lindsay) Fick, Robin Ashley Fick, Emily, Anna, Adaline and Eleanor Atkinson, Jack, Austin, Madeline, Owen and Everleigh Bovay and her great nieces and nephew Mayleigh, Ezra, and Sophia Fick.

She will be greatly missed but we rest in the hope we will see her again in Heaven (John  14:1-6).

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Ambassador Baptist Church in Sparta, with Clyde Ewers officiating. Burial will follow services in Leon Cemetery.

A visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 20, 2024, at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation in Sparta, and from 10:00 A.M – 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church. Online condolences may be offered at www.schanhoferfh.com.
