Jerome R. Whitrock

Jerome R. Whitrock, 68, of Sparta, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Tomah Veterans Medical Center, Tomah, with family by his side. He was born on January 15, 1955 in Janesville, WI to Emery and Betty Lou (Niebuhr) Whitrock.

Jerome attended school in Janesville. He lived briefly in Marshfield, WI before spending the next 25 years in Sparta. He was a 23 year Air Force veteran.

Jerome is survived by his sister, Marcia Suchy (Jim); and brothers, Jim (Mary), Jerry, and Jeff (Ginger). He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; sister Linda Lou; and many aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held on April 13th, 10:00 a.m. at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spooner. A luncheon to follow in Spooner. Online condolences may be offered at www.schanhoferfh.com
