Judith "Judy" A. Kruk

Judith “Judy” A. Kruk, 75, of Sparta passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, La Crosse. She was born on November 14, 1950 to Leonard and Dorothy (Van Kirk) Nauman in Sparta. She grew up in Sparta and graduated from Sparta High School.

Judy married LaVern “Humpy” Kruk at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Summit Ridge. Together, they had 2 children. They later divorced.

Judy worked various jobs, including The 19th Hole, Crockers, Spartek, and Fort McCoy. She loved her dogs.

Judith is survived by her children, Brenda and Troy Kruk of Sparta; grandchildren, Mckenzzie Kruk, Madeline Schaitel, and Paxton Jandt; siblings, Betty Brueggen of Cashton, Jerry Nauman of Sparta, and Jim Nauman of Sparta; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Dorothy.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta, with Father Eric Berns officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at The Eagles Club, Sparta. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Summit Ridge, at a later date.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home.
