Justin C. McPherson

     On Thursday, February 11th, 2021, Justin McPherson passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 35 from cancer.

     Justin was born May 24th, 1985 to Matt and Sherry McPherson, the second oldest of five siblings. His family and friends loved his quirky sense of humor and easy laugh, and cherished his gentle, empathetic heart. He loved intensely, accepted people easily, and was quick to forgive and to say he was sorry. He enjoyed playing video games with his brothers, listening to rock music, memorizing historical information, and spending time watching shows with his family. He collected coins, experimented with photography, and drew spiral geometric drawings that were unique and captivating.

     Justin is survived by his father, mother, two brothers, and an adopted brother and sister. The space left by Justin’s passing could never be filled by anyone or anything. Yet his family eagerly looks forward to seeing him dance in heaven – free from the suffering this world mixes with its joys. “’He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.’ And he who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’” – Revelation 21:4-5

     A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021, at New Life Assembly of God church in Sparta, WI at 3:00pm, with a visitation from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the church.  Online condolences may be offered to Justin’ s family at www.schanhoferfh.com
