Kathy M. Windsor

     Katherine “Kathy” M. Windsor, 71, of rural Cataract, died Saturday, October 10, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 19, 1948 in Waukegan, IL. She was raised in Dorchester, WI by her grandparents, Jessica and William Copeland and grew up with her aunts, uncles, and cousins.

     Kathy married Larry Windsor on June 25, 1966 in Jefferson Prairie, IL. They moved to the Cataract area in 1979. Kathy was a CNA at Mulder Health Care in West Salem. She enjoyed arts and crafts and her coffee.

     Kathy is survived by her husband, Larry; her children, Spencer (Brandy), Dawn (Chet) Millard, Jason (Jenni), and Avery (Becky); grandchildren, Cody (Luke), Devon, Lee, Hunter, Gunnar, Lexy, Faith, Landon, Merek, Jessica (Logan), Rion (Abby), and Emily (Brady); her puppies, Sissy and Smokey; and many grand-dogs and great grand-dogs along with many other relatives, neighbors, and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Mother Joyce and Stepfather “Dad” Don.

     A Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be held at 2pm on October 17, 2020 at her home near Cataract, 3648 State Hwy 71 Sparta.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice, the Shriners, or Boys Town. 

     The Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta, is assisting the family with arrangements.
