Keith G. Davison, 97, of Sparta, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Dove Healthcare, Lodi. He was born on February 14, 1927 to Lawrence and Mae (Lewis) Davison in Sparta. He grew up in Barron, WI.
Keith graduated from Turtle Lake High School in 1944, then attended college in Beloit, WI. Soon after college, he became the pastor at Burr and Valley Church, where he met his wife, Marjorie Marshall. Together, they had four kids: Dennis, Ann, Mark, and Laurie. Later, he met the love of his life, Geneva Lawrence.
Keith married Geneva Lawrence on May 10, 1969 in Denver, CO. They lived in England for a year and then moved back to the U.S. They lived in Wiley, CO, Wabash, IN, Lakefield, MN, and Byron, MN while Keith was a Pastor. They retired to Winona and then moved to Sparta. He enjoyed stamp collecting, reading, fishing, Christmas decorations, and handyman work. He was a pet lover, and an ice cream connoisseur. He shared money with many organizations, including Turtle Lake Schools, and Alzheimer’s Alliance.
Keith is survived by his brother, Harlan Davison; sister, Carol (Bill) Pauls; sons Mark Davison and Dennis Davison; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mae Davison; wife, Geneva on September 25, 2018; children, Ann Davison and Laurie Sacho; and brothers, Glen Davison, Warren Davison, and Lynn Davison.

A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sparta, with Reverend Josh Buzbee officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends and family are invited for a visitation from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday, at the church. Online condolences may be offered at www.schanhoferfh.com
