Margaret Ann Brueggeman

     Margaret A Brueggeman, 89, of Sparta, died Monday, December 10, 2018 at her home. She was born on February 22, 1929 in Sparta to George and Bianca (Krueger) VanKirk. She grew up in Sparta and graduated from Sparta High School in 1947.

     Margaret married Everette Brueggeman on October 21, 1948 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sparta. They lived their entire married lives in Sparta.

     Margaret worked at WCOW, Pet Milk, Ernie’s Fairway Foods, and retired from NSP in 1992. She enjoyed playing BINGO, euchre, and other card games.

     Margaret is survived by her husband of over 70 years, Everette of Sparta; children, Dennis (Sandra) Brueggeman, Dobie (Melody) Brueggeman, and Rodney (Vicky Jo) Brueggeman all of Sparta; eight grandchildren, Chad (Tammy), Wade, Jessica (Tim), Matt (Cindy), Troy, Doug (Jenny), Mike (Melissa), and Aaron (Rachel); 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild on the way; sisters, Helen Taylor and Mary Siekert both of Sparta; and many other relatives and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, Billy, Kenneth, and Donald; and a sister, Dorothy Nauman.

     There will be no services at this time. The Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta, is assisting the family with arrangements.
