Marlyce (Arnold) Scholze

Marlyce Scholze, 79, of Sparta, died on September 21, 2021 at Morrow Memorial Home in Sparta. Marlyce was born on November 2, 1941 to Cleo and Myrtle Arnold at home on East Beaver Creek in Sparta. Marlyce was married to Russell Scholze.

Marlyce loved playing cards and listening to Merle Haggard music. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

Marlyce is survived by her sisters Mary Crouch, Judy Torgerson; brothers Kelvin, Tim and Kevin Arnold; sons Steven (Bonnie), Lyle Scott, Dan (Heidi) and Shannon (Tracy) Scholze. Marlyce is further survived by her grandchildren Justin and Chase, Cole and Megan, Kylene, Cheyanne, Adam and Grace and Stephanie; sisters-in-law Linda, Carolyn, Mary, Bonnie and Teresa Arnold; brothers-in-law Erling Leis and John Austin and many great grankids, plus one on the way, and many nieces and nephews.

Marlyce is preceded in death by her parents Cleo and Myrtle; brothers Gary (Bud), Rodney, Dennis, Laurel and Tom Arnold; sisters Jeanne, Janice, Sandy and Nita and many other family members. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation of Sparta is assisting the family with arrangements.
