Mary E. Krueger

Mary E. Krueger, 70, of Sparta, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020, at her home.

She was born August 20, 1949, in Sparta, to Nelson and Louise (Peters) Johnson. She was born and raised on her parent’s dairy farm, she had a pony named Rocky that she loved and rode every day.  On August 30, 1980, Mary married Tim Krueger and they enjoyed farming side by side for many years. Mary always took special care of all the baby calves. Mary loved animals including a pet raccoon. She always had a huge garden with many strawberries and a yard full of flowers.  She loved the outdoors.  She also later enjoyed painting, wood working, and never missed watching a Brewer game. Tim and her made many memorable gifts for their kids and grandkids. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

     Survivors include her husband of nearly 40 years, Tim; children, Travis (Jodi) Krueger, Tyrone (Melissa) Krueger, Tiffany Krueger, and Tabitha Feldbauer; grandchildren, Chase (Nicole) Krueger, Wyatt (Amanda Leis) Krueger. Darius and Alecia Krueger, Maisie Munson, and Olivia, Savanna, and Sophia Feldbauer; great-grandchild, Nolan Krueger and another great granddaughter due in September; sisters, Darlene Clemmerson, Sandy Peck, Laura (Tom) Brown, and Vicki (HA) Moore; brother, Richard Johnson; in-laws, LaVerne Krueger, Mike (Lori) Krueger, and Ila Krueger; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

     Mary was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Munson; daughter, Cindy Munson; sister, Debbie Krueger; brothers, Randy Johnson and Rodney Johnson; brothers-in-law, Pete Clemmerson and Keith Peck; sister in law, Geri Johnson.

     In accordance with Mary’s wishes, no services will be held.
