Melvin L Buchanan

Melvin “Mel” Buchanan, 86, of Sparta (formerly Thomasville, PA) passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at his home. He was born February 18, 1938 in Pennsylvania.

He married Erna Jane “EJ” Schuster on October 12, 1969.

Mel leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Erna Jane “EJ”; daughter Kaye Ann (Gary) Caulum; three grandchildren, Phillip, Bryan, and Valerie; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Joe.
