Michael S. Brandau

     Michael “Mike” S. Brandau, 57, of Sparta, passed away, Monday, May 25, 2020, at his home.

     He was born September 29, 1962, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Robert and Leah (Roberts) Brandau.

     Survivors include his wife, Tracie (Silevinac) Brandau of Sparta; three children, Anthony Brandau of Marshfield, Wis., Justin (Melissa) Brandau of Fort Campbell, Ky., and Misty Brandau of Sparta; three granddaughters, Maddie, Zoey, and Haylee Brandau of Fort Campbell, Ky.; his mother, Leah (Lloyd) Frank of Roscoe, Ill.; three siblings, Kim (Kevin) Olson of Germantown, Wis., Douglas (Kathi) Brandau of Franklin, Ind., and Peter (Sue) Brandau of Yorkville, Ill.; mother-in-law, Gloria Silevinac of Sparta; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.      Mike was preceded in death by his father, Robert Brandau and father-in-law, Philip Silevinac.

     A public visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m., until 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2020, at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta. Social distancing will be observed. A private memorial service with military honors will be held.
