Michael P. Ender

Michael P. Ender, 80, of Sparta, died on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in Sparta, WI. He was born on October 21, 1941 to Elmer and Erma (Knoll) Ender in Sparta, WI.

Mike would meet his future wife, Gerry Higdon while serving in the United States Navy. On February 3, 1962 Mike married Gerry, where they celebrated nearly 60 years of marriage.

Mike is survived by his wife Gerry; children Allan (Tony) Ender, Eric (Sandy) Ender, Cindy (Bruce) Altman, Brandy (Tami) Ender; grandchildren Nathanael (Jessica) Culpitt, Bodhi (Meghan) Ender, Emily (Danny) McGee, Keith Ender, Kobe Culpitt and Zachary Ender; great-grandchildren Sophia and Vivian. Mike is also survived by his sister Joyce Anderson and sister-in-law Beverly Ender. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Tre, brother Conrad and brother-in-law Verdell.

Memorial service to be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta. Reverend Jef Skinner to officiate. Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
