Nora Lee Green

Nora L. Green, 65, of Sparta, passed away on June 8, 2026 at her home. She was born on July 20, 1960, in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, to Raymond and Nora (Turner) Green. She was raised on the family farm in Merrillan, Wisconsin.

Nora dedicated many years to her career, working at Northern Engraving in Sparta for 15 years, Spartek for 5 years, and Fast Corporation for 25 years. She was respected by her coworkers and took pride in her work ethic and commitment.

Outside of work, Nora enjoyed spending time in her garden and expressing her creativity through art. She loved fishing, playing softball, and making memories with family and friends.

Nora is survived by her children, Charles "Chaz" (Wendy) Kinser of Sparta, Heather Marie Cox of Sparta, and Jennifer Kinser of Denver, Iowa; grandchildren, Seth Wright, Charles Kinser, Victoria Kinser, Rhett Hohn, Tye Hohn, Easton Hohn, Anthony Kruk, Marcus Cox, Devin Kinser, Lucas Kinser, and Alex Baumel; 5 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Tom (Debbie) Green of Merrillan, Dorothy (Dave) Birks of Merrillan, Raymond "Beaver" Green of Merrillan, and Shirley Igl of Florida ; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Nora Green; granddaughter, Chasity Kinser; and her siblings, Robert Green, Betty Jean Hawley, Rosie Green, Hank Green, and Gladys Luther.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta, with Reverend Randy Williamson officiating.
