Pam C. Field

   Pamela “Pam” C. Field, 73, of Sparta, died Saturday, October 31, 2020 at her home. She was born on August 18, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA to Jerome and Eve (Sereno) Preciado. She grew up in Los Angeles and moved to Sierra Valley while still in school.

     Pam married Joe Field on August 17, 1977 in Incline Village, NV. They lived in Kings Beach, Lake Tahoe, CA for 21 years before moving back to the Sparta area. Pam owned and operated That Special Touch Healing Center in Sparta.

     Pam is survived by her husband, Joe of Sparta; son, Andrew (Deb) Field of Minneapolis, MN; three sisters, Rebecca (John) Kincade of Loyalton, CA, Susan (Russell) Chandler of Fallon, NV, and Celeste Preciado of Nampa, Idaho; mother-in-law, Fran Field of Sparta; brothers-in-law, John (Julie) Field of Rockland and James (Josie) Field of El Paso, TX; and many other friends. 

     She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Mona Preciado.

     Graveside services will be held at a later time in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. 

      Family requests that memorials be sent to Gundersen Hospice, 1836 South Ave, La Crosse, WI  54601, in lieu of flowers.

     The Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta, is assisting the family with arrangements.
