Patricia A Dailey

Patricia (Pat) Anne Dailey ran into the arms of her Savior on September 29, 2025. Her last weeks were spent visiting, laughing, and praying with family and friends. She passed away in her oldest daughter’s home while her daughters and son-in-law were praying with her. 

Pat was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Matthew and Lillian Dailey on March 7, 1951. She spent her childhood and adolescent years living in the Boston area with her parents and big sister, Peggy. She attended UMass Boston right after graduating high school. 

She moved to Wisconsin in her early twenties where she finished her bachelor’s degree in sociology at UW La Crosse. She lived in Wisconsin for the rest of her days. Pat enjoyed going to the local restaurants to visit over a hot cup of coffee. She was kind and thoughtful, making new friends everywhere she went. She was loved by so many and exuded selflessness and what it really means to love your neighbor. She truly was someone who did so much for others and asked for so little. 

She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved dog Takao, and Vietnam war veterans. She donated her time at the dog shelter and the VFW. She also was very active and loved being in nature. She was a big Patriot’s fan and was extremely proud of her Irish heritage.  

Pat was the most passionate about her faith in Jesus Christ, being very active in her church and spending time daily reading her Bible and talking about her faith. She loved her family fiercely. She always made them a priority, making sure to call and visit often. She was extremely present in all of their lives. Pat was a prayer warrior and encourager, always making sure those close to her knew how much she loved them. She will be deeply missed.

Pat is survived by her sister Peggy (George) Gray, her two living daughters: Suzanne (Richard) Meiners and Rachel (Amos) Leis, her honorary daughter, Tina (Herbie) Calhoon, her nieces Catherine (Jasper) Reynolds and Ellen (Brad) Wasson, her grandchildren: Desiree (Bryan) Lawrence, Shantell (Dominic) Kreider, Dominique (Brandon) Houldsworth, Serenity Arena (James Herndon), Breanna Meiners, Shaylee Arena, Cason Leis, Ellison Leis, Ryden Leis, and Benson Leis, great-grandchildren: Jayse and Alina Herndon, Genevieve Kreider, and a little one due in January. 

She was preceded in death by her parents: Matthew and Lillian (Ryan) Dailey, her daughter Carole Arena, and many cousins and friends. 

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7,2025 at New Life Assembly of God church in Sparta, Wisconsin. A luncheon will immediately follow.
