Ronald “Ronnie” M. Wright, 35, of Sparta died on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, in Cataract. He was born on April 18, 1990 to Charisse A. Henley and Michael J. Wright, at St. Francis Hospital in La Crosse.
Ronnie lived in La Crosse, WI, Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Mesa AZ, Cocoa Beach and Sarasota, FL, as well as Sparta/Cataract, WI, and Bowling Green, KY; where, in May 2014, he suffered Diffuse Axonal Injury-a severe traumatic brain injury, sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Ronnie excelled in ROTC, and was the youngest member to achieve Sharp Shooter status, during high school in Sarasota, FL. He was also a gifted athlete, and played football for Logan High School in La Crosse, WI- #42.
Ronnie is survived by his mother and father; his sons, Ty and Jerome; his brother, Vincent Caldwell; paternal grandmother, Gladys Wright; maternal grandmother; a half-brother; five half-sisters; a step-mother; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ronnie was and is loved deeply, and will be missed every single day. His heart was pure gold, and he is, and always has been God’s child.
Ronnie is now in God’s loving embrace, and he is at peace.
