Sandra "Sandy" L. Mueller

Sandra Lea Mueller (Sandy) at age 72, of Sparta, Wi, passed away at home with loved ones on July 6, 2025. She fought long and hard. Born on December 6,1952, Sandy lived a life marked be joy, fun, resilience and creativity.

Sandy's life was characterized by her ever-present present smile and laughter. She was known for her strong, stubborn, fun-loving nature. A crafty individual, Sandy had a remarkable talent for crocheting, transforming portraits into beautiful tapestries and blankets that are cherished. Sandy and Jim were married for 53 years and were always together and there for each other at every turn and during all of adventures life gave them. 

Alongside her husband Jim, Sandra enjoyed trips to the casino where she often found herself on a lucky streak. Her interests also included playing Yahtzee and other games, activities she enjoyed for their mix of skill and chance. 

She also had a special bond with her siblings and she always looked forward to sister's weekend. 

She was survived by her devoted husband, Jim; her daughter Brenda (Derick)Cherney, sons Terry and Derrik Mueller; and numerous brothers and sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents, Audrey and Fred Vorpahl; her sister, Shelly Mares, and step daughter, Natalia. 

A celebration of Sandra's life will be held at Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on 08/01/2025 at 1pm in King, Wisconsin, Waupaca County.
