Sharon A Melby

Sharon Ann (Brieske) Melby, 82, of Owego, New York, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026. She was born March 30, 1944 in Sparta, WI.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Michael Melby; her parents, James and Dorothy (Hericks) Brieske; and her brother, Dennis Brieske.

She is survived by her children, James (Barbara) Melby and Margaret (Melby) Medina; her four grandchildren, Benjamin and Brooke Melby, and Evelyn and Michael Medina; two sisters, Connie Schaitel and Kristine Brieske; and two brothers, Michael Brieske and Brian Brieske.

Private family services will be held at Leon Cemetery, in Sparta, WI.
