Shirley Eileen Snow

    Shirley Eileen Snow, 84, of Sparta, passed away April 19, 2020.Shirley was born April 16, 1936, to Walter and Alice (Wegner) Jenkins in Sparta, WI.She graduated from Sparta Senior High School in 1954.Shirley worked at Super Valu for over 30 years.She was a member of the Sparta United Methodist Church, Sparta Ladies Golf Association, Sparta Bowling Association, Farmers Valley Homemakers, and the Morrow Memorial Home Auxiliary.Shirley enjoyed playing cards, bowling, golf, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.

     Surviving her are her husband of 65 years Kenneth Snow; children Ryan (Kathleen) Snow, Sparta; Lance (Debra) Snow, Byron, MN; Bradley (Linda) Snow, Sycamore, IL; and Mari (Will) Duchaj, Hampshire, IL.Grandchildren:Jason Snow, Jilian Foxen, Abbey (Matt) Jeanquart, Adam (Julia) Snow, Derek Snow, Bret Snow;great-grandchildren: Dalton (Becky), Logan, and Lily Snow, Jacob Foxen, Madelyn and Marissa Jeanquart, Owen & Avery Snow; and great-great granddaughter, Brinley Snow.Also surviving are siblings Harold “Chippey” (Markye) Jenkins, Carole (Lawrence) Ruedy, Betty (Loren) Kirkeeng, sister-in-law Rosella Jenkins, and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Alice Jenkins, in-laws Harold and Edith Snow, granddaughter, Becky Snow, great-grandson, Carter Lane Snow, and siblings Bernice Baumbach, Cleo Jenkins, Francis Jenkins, Alberta Rommel, Harley Jenkins, Dot Hutson, brother-in-law Robert Snow, and nieces and nephews.

     Following a private, family, graveside burial, a celebration of life luncheon will take place on Monday, July 20 from 12:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Greens.

     Honorary pallbearers include: Dort Arenz, Amy Bernath, Jean Hays, Iona Hayter, Dot Hering, Betty Jones, Karen Krueger, Eloda Miller, Avis Quackenbush, Babette Rice, Mary Schroeder, Joan Strom, Marlene Sund, Bev Wendorf, and Joyce Wright.

     The family would like to thank the Morrow Memorial Home, especially the 2nd floor staff, for their kindness, care, and assistance.
