Terry R. Vinson

Terry R. Vinson, 75, of Sparta, died Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Tomah VA Medical Center, Tomah. He was born on January 5, 1949 to Orville and Ada (Kelly) Vinson in La Crosse, and grew up in various places around Wisconsin. He served in the US Army until his honorable discharge in 1969.

He married Linda Lund in 1985. She passed away on August 2, 2024.

Terry was a handyman all of his life. He enjoyed fixing and tinkering with things, and coloring.

He is survived by his sister, Sandy Saumweber; brother, Joseph Vinson; stepsister, Irene Greeno; stepbrother, John Greeno; caregiver, Victoria Leszczynski; and sponsor; Barbara Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda; brothers, Floyd, Howard, Butch, David, and Clifford; and stepsister, Chris Kunz.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Evans Bosshard Park, Shelter #1, in Sparta; with Pastor Dean Ciokiewicz officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
