Theodore "Ted" T Thielker

Theodore “Ted” T. Thielker, 67, of Bangor passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025 at his home. He was born January 28, 1958 to LeVern E. and Arlene S. (Langrehr) Thielker in La Crosse. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bangor; and graduated from Bangor High School in 1976.

After high school, Ted had miscellaneous jobs. He worked for Whitehall Recycling before his retirement.

Ted enjoyed fishing, watching Western movies, cheering on the Brewers and Packers, and taking bus trips.

Ted is survived by his siblings, Kenneth (Marcia) Thielker of Rockland, Anna (Kent) Wendorf of Viroqua, Russell Thielker of La Crosse, Ruth (John) Elsen of Rockland, Nancy Zurenda of The Villages, FL, and Charlotte (Duane) Leurquin of Rockland; step-sister, Bev (John) Reddock of Florida; and step-brother-in-law, Roland Arttus of Sparta.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LeVern and Arlene Thielker; step-mother, Mary Thielker; brothers, John Thielker and Leonard Thielker; brother-in-law and “special buddy”, Thomas Zurenda; sister-in-law, Agnes Thielker; and step-sister, Norma Arttus. 

A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bangor, with Reverend Brock Groth officiating. Burial will be in Burns Cemetery, following the service. A luncheon will be served, after the burial, at the church.

A Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Monday, at the church.
