Tina M. Connelly

Tina M. Connelly, 62, of Bangor, died on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at her home. She was born on June 7, 1962 to Thomas Sr. and Sharon (Anderson) Mathison. She grew up in Sparta, and graduated from Sparta High School.

Tina married Thomas Connelly on November 8, 1986. Together they raised Pam and Billy.

She loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed SHOPPING, and had a love for shoes. She also enjoyed card making, reading and travelling.

Tina is survived by her husband, Tom; step children, Pam (Quincy) and Billy; mother, Sharon; grandchildren, Jasmine Hardy and Eliana Haakenson; sisters, Paula Mathison, Terri Schnitzler, Shana (Mathison) Manka, and Nikki Mathison; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Mathison Sr.; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Elise; paternal grandparents, Gus and Margaret; brothers, Thomas (TJ) Mathison Jr. and Todd Mathison; and nephew, John Manka.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta, with Reverend Randy Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Burns Cemetery, rural Bangor.  A luncheon will follow the burial at American Legion, Sparta.

A Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
