Tom P. Schumacher

     Tom Paul Schumacher, 75, of Onalaska, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at his home. He was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota January 13, 1946 to Paul and Alice (Rockola) Schumacher.     

     Tom is survived by his loving wife of almost 10 years of marriage, Sandra Schumacher; children, David Schumacher, Catherine Steiner, Mark Schumacher, James (Melissa) Schumacher, and Christina Schanhofer; stepsons, Joe Baldridge and Jim (Chad) Baldridge Garst; grandchildren, Breanna Steiner, Jacob and Grant Schumacher, Ava, Loren and Norah Schanhofer, Cole and Kyleigh Schumacher, John and Steven Baldridge; sister, Pamela Justus; and niece, Kristen Rothenberg.

     He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon Schumacher; son, Michael Schumacher; and parents, Paul and Alice Schumacher.   

     A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta, with a 2 p.m. time of sharing stories of Tom’s life. Burial will be in Highland Lutheran Church Cemetery, Highland, IA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Highland Lutheran Church, 3824 Highlandville Road, Decorah, IA 52101.
